Ensure all buttons along the bottom are unchecked except for same version and same mod. Click update, the menu should now populate with all servers running First Strike. Also bear in mind that Rebel Defiance is the only FS server currently running.

Here's the specific bit you're after:

In this folder you need to find two items, BF2142.exe and FirstStrike.exe. Copy your BF2142.exe somewhere and then rename it to exactly match the FirstStrike.exe. So basically you're just making a copy of the BF2142.exe and renaming it to First Strike so that now launches the mod.

okay ill make it short,i have the delux edition bought on EA ORIGIN,and if i try to start the mod it says i should check my disk,but the normal game i can start via origin,how to start the mod now?

Because my BF2142 doesn't work on 1.5 patch, i'm waiting the new patch. Thanks for the anwser.

Not yet, but once we have developed and tested a new patch in a couple of days we'll release it and the BF2142 1.51 and First Strike will be compatible.

My bad, didn't see any at first. For the record, clearing the cache by deleting the cache folder in documents/BF2142/mods/First Strike/ worked.

I haven't been able to play 1.4 yet. I downloaded it, and joined an empty server just to mess around and see what one of the maps was like, and had no problems. I logged on today, saw a populated server for once, and now I CTD as soon as the 'Deploy' button pops up. Any ideas? Would love to be able to fix this without a reinstall.
