I'm dragging properly, unless there's a specific way other than 'hold down left mouse button, move mouse' that I missed but that works for BF2142 and the different Trooper weapons so I don't see how it shouldn't for FS. And if it's locked, how do I see other people running around with it?

Here's a nice noob question: how can I use the rocket launcher, etc? For some reason when I select the Heavy Weapons kit I can only use the default weapon, even if I try to select the Rocket Launcher from the Customize screen.

they rock vs infantry, though its possible that you get sniped out of it easily, i once killed a squad of 3 guys with just a few shots (like 1-2 per player!!)

Now that v1.1 has been released, is it okay for us to use the Officer's deployable guns? I've never seen the MKII/EWEB in action, and am anxious to try it.

Other way around with me. 100% terrible lag but 85% no lag. Dunno why, but thats how it works with my computer

1) Regardless of your other settings, make sure your viewdistance is 100%

at 88% I lagged a bunch, 100% none

So much anger caused by ignoring it, I had to make it bold!

To un-install Highway Tampa you have to reinstall the entire game.

Back up your files people. It save a lot of headaches; and not just with this game but many other things as well.

Ok. i DLed the tampa beta for BF2142 and it says all the servers are playing an older version. how do i unstall the tampa beta?

Alrighty, Here's a quick compendium of Need To Know things to get the mod going:

1) Regardless of your other settings, make sure your viewdistance is 100%
2) If no servers are showing up on the online list press the Advanced tab, deselect everything but "same mod" and hit "update list"
3) If you cannot see floating icons for capital ships or the nav point on hoth space, press the left Alt key.
4) Crashes are not uncommon! Best thing to do is to just get back into the game or find a different server. We'll have a patch out as soon as we've nailed down everything. On that note spacemaps are more stable than ground. DON"T DEPLOY GUNS WITH THE OFFICER CLASS! Speederbikes are also questionable
5) Singleplayer does not work. If you want to practice offline go to multiplayer-local-create and start a CONQUEST game
