Its being solved and fixed as we speak. But for now, please avoid playing it as its known to ctd. It is one of my favorite maps too but you just have to live without it for now.

Just as a note, the memory leak isnt Endor work. Its a python issue. The massive server memory usage apply for ALL our maps (including space) and I'm not sure we've found the cause yet. All we know is that this shouldnt be.

We are working hard to get it stable. Endor has been unlucky due to very high demands of the engine (9000+ overgrowth objects for a total of 35-40K trees and plants as it is clustered. Even a BF2/2142 "forest" is only a couple of thousand objects tops) AND having speeders (known to crash) AND having walkers (known to freeze) AND having wrong material on the rocks (known to crash apparently).

It's when the game takes memory it doesn't need and doesn't give it back and continues to do so until inevitably your game is forced to crash.

Ah... So it just consumes all the memory 'til there's nothing left then?

right now their suggesting not playing that map it crashes 10 min through their working on a fix

after from 1-10 minutes of playing on endor, the game just randomly exits to my desktop with no error messages or anything. plz contact the community if u fix the problem. note: it does only crash on endor
