I have the same issue with my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick. I cannot map the boost button nor the countermeasures button to my joystick. running drivers 4.60.349 dated 18/04/2005. hopefully a fix will come out in the next patch.

This line maps LeftShift to Aircraft Boost. Insert a new Line:

ControlMap.addButtonToTriggerMapping c_PISprint IDFGameController_0 IDButton_6 0 1

To find out your Controller number and button id first map the button you want for boost to another function with the ingame menue (i.e. weapon select 5). Search this line in the helicopter section.

the booster key on walkers an cars in 212 is a Land booster key, you need the AIR booster key which is left over from BF2 code but none existent in 2142 control re-mapping screen. in order to remap the key to Air boost you need to do it manualy by editing the controls.con in your user profile. OR you can double tap forward

cause normally the boosterkey is just a macro of dubble tap

Yea,the boost key doesnt work on speeders(bike) only double tap.

walkers dont have a boost in FS. only people, speeders and a few fighters

Well the walkers in BF2142 go faster when u use the boost key

OK i just had another look at Endor and the AT-ST's dont boost,its a little strange as when in infantry mode you CAN run/boost.As a test ill see if remapping to a different key helps.

I dont beleive it does, it seems its a key mapping issue not a 'vehicles wont boost issue' ill try again on Endor and see if the walkers will boost or not and report back.

Sorry,what i meant to say was the key i have remapped to boost doesnt work on the keyboard,im not using a joystick.It works fine in vanilla though.
