This team has even a bigger problem with solving some issues, as the editor was never made to work "nice" with 2142. I do lots of mapping for BF2, but after many problems with trying to map for 2142 using the BF2Editor, I have the utmost respect for what they are doing.

This sucks as, BECAUSE.
Constructive critiscism is never frowned upon. althoug you can't help feeling a LITTLE dinted pride when someone says they dislike somethin but the profesional attitude is to take it on board and if the general consesnsus (we can't change stuff because 1 person says so) agrees with you, then we try to change it.
we do however wish to remind people that we are working in an engine that we are pushing way beyond it's designs, and that we are totaly unsupported (more so than Bf2 mods) as we don't even have an official editor.
So not everythign is possible, but we like to try

Absolutely ICANDO, your post was not being referenced. I found yours to be informative and not argumentative. About page 6 or 7 into the forum there were others which prompted me to register here and respond.
I'm all for constructive criticism which you did well.
]]> Soon after the general public gets its hands on someones work, by default alot of criticizm will be flying through the forums. Screams of "fix this, fix that" are expected. What has Impressed me more than the teams work on the mod has been thier reaction to the comments posted the day after release. I see comments from the Dev's such as "thanks for pointing that out", and "you are helping us fix the mod".
The easy way out when someone is insulting your "offspring" is to back-lash with "make your own mod then" etc. (which I have seen with some other mods regrettably). In the long run the Public Relations you build by your responses will reap the rewards by word of mouth.
I just wanted to thank the team for something you cannot code in a mod.....maturity and strength of character.
P.S. The game is good too....heh heh
