Punishing is the worst part of the Battlefield series , especially when you get some T*@T walk over or near a perfectly visible mine then punish you for his idiocy.

When we ran a 2142 server the first thing we did was remove the punish facility and turn up the damage effect so these t@*ts got what was coming to them.

I'm in agreement for the space battles too, there should be no punish for most of the kills, half the time you dont have time to react anyway and to then be punished when most of the time its not your fault or its too hard to say whos fault it is .And also the pilot of the cruiser should not get the kill when you fly into it,if any thing you should get a negative score for flying into him and wasting a perfectly good ship

I had this thought last night. As a stop gap measure, why not advise the server admins of the problem, with the suggestion that they implement a policy of no PTK's for collisions with capitol ships? If someone gets one, they can inform an admin. I don't know if it is possible for the admin to remove it, but they could give the punisher a warning, then a kick.

Though I havent been the unlucky recipient for a TK from someone ramming into my frigate, I know that the situation is relatively common for cap. ship users. You get punished for their stupidity, and they dont care. The guys who punish you like to screw with other players because they get a kick out of it. Cant really do much about it unfortunately...

LOVE THE MOD!

But has this happened to anyone else? While playing EFH yesterday, I was driving a capital ship. I kept getting TK notices. I wasn't aiming anywhere near my teammates, and I think it was because they were flying into me in fighters. (and of course, automatically selecting PTK afterwards) Eventually, I got kicked!

I don't think the original TK resolution system contemplated someone driving a vehicle which could survive so many collisions with its teammates vehicles.

I was wondering if this is common, and if any solution was in the works.
