I never really cared about stats. Teamwork is always more fun. Thats the point of a multiplayer game

I was hoping the lack of stats update would make people to concentrate on more important things. Like winning

Agreed. DICE's intention to create team play was also hampered by the stats tracking. When I played 2142 I always wanted to win but I also wanted to cap the most and kill the most and heal the most etc!

I still want to do all those things but I don't put any pressure on myself when playing FS. I can just have fun.

So, no I don't miss stat tracking at all. If someone is really good at FS you will see the community talking about them.

And is there any higher praise than that of your peers?

I think it is a wonderful thing to atlast play without the burden of stats, to keep your player statistics good enough. No more statpadders, no sir. Just relaxed gameplay and enjoying the game without having to worry about anything. It's all unlocked.

I'd say to stats, get out and stay out.

Excellent thinking. Stats are for sad people. Team victory while having fun and great time with excellent teamplay is what this mod is all about!

I've been thinking about the absence of saved stats and ranks in First Strike as opposed to 2142 and am curious about what other players think about it.

At first I was slightly dissapointed to find that my game stats neither accumilate not lead to a higher rank. But after playing FS for a while now I realize that there are so many more important things to be accomplished in FS than just accumilating stats.

I'm focusing a lot more now on who wins the round, on how I can help in certain situations, and not thinking of my K/D ratio, accuracy etc. I mean, if jumping into a hot zone to help win the battle means getitng killed then who cares ... I'd rather win.

What do you all think about not having accumilated stats in FS?
