The current updater does not ask for the directory. You can get around this by creating a C:\Mods and dropping the FirstStrike 1.0 folder in there. The patch installer will whine, but just select "Ignore". It will find mod and patch it.

Is your FS directory non-standard (on a different drive or something)?

thats the message I get. so naturally it won't even begin to patch. 1.0 installed fine and played fine so I'm hoping this is a known issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
