if this doesn't work, try to use software, instead of hardware

and what are ur sound settings, cause I see u use an onboard sound chip

try updaing your sound(card) drivers. and fiddle around with your ingame sound settings.
if you can turn EAX on

but it only happens on that map.. and i believe i have hardware enabled

That sounds like a sound driver problem, I used to have this bug alot as well across the board of games.

yep im using a intel core 2 duo e6300
2 gigs ram
7600 GT
onboard 5.1 surround sound

Dunno what your problem is, almost everyone else can play it just fine...

So yea, post system specs. And graphics settings too please.

I was playing the endor map and i was about 3 minutes into it when all the sounds froze and sort of repeated themselves while my video froze at the same time and would not go back to normal... so i had to reboot... I thought Endor was alright to play since the patch.
