Hey Guys, Thanks for the quick response and positive remarks. I understand completly, I'd be happy to do an online "level 2 interview". I'll check the patch and get the editor and go through some tutorials. I have experience, yes, but it may not be what your looking for and no hard feelings if I dont cut it..., then I'll have come back after doing some practice mods of my own. Either way it's good to establish a working relationship.

My msn is the same as hotmail. There is allways Xfire, vent, or TS as well. Though my mic is getting a little beat up.

PS. Are you still looking for a female voice... yeah haha not for me, Im trying to get my g/f to submit.

Dragon,

Your qualifications are very impressive, however, we really need coders with modding experience, or at least people who can catch on fast. I would bet my left nut you can learn fast, but SCHRifle and I would like to verify it before bringing you on. The way we've been doing it is that we'd like to walk you through a simple import or something on MSN. We'll evaluate how well you pick up the concepts of modding BF2 and decide if you have what it takes.

Is your email the same that you use for MSN messenger? I have added that address but let me know if it's something different. Catch one of us while we're online and we'll get started. You my want to make sure your game is patched up to 1.12 and that you've downloaded and installed the editor ~50MB. There are also some public tutorials available for download. coding: My experience is in C/C++, using MFC, STL, and other SDKs. I have used Java and I have a grip on Python. I do application and embedded development on Win32/Linux/VxWorks professionally. For my own fullfillment I've been studying simulation and game development with DirextX, OpenGL, physics SDKs, OpenAL. I haven't done any real modding more like I have made attempts at writing my own games but I make them far too complicated and I dont have the time to do the graphics work as well as code.
tweaking in editor: Only tweaking Ive done have been to MFC and other windows appllications
editing .con files: If its like a config file Ive done them when ever Linux isn't playing nice.
Animating: none
Modeling: none
Texturing: Only applying them to meshes in 3d scenes using OGL and DX.
Mapping: gave it a shot with the BFV editor but I didnt get very far.
Sound Engineering: none... I play guitar
2D Art Designing: besides drawing attepmt at a sprite class
URL of last Mod: dont have one.
Other examples: I dont have any good game examples sorry.
