<150 if it's west coast, at the most about 180-190.

It's wierd though I get really bad pings to Aus and Japan, like 250, even though they're technically closer. (or at least not that much farther?)

How about the occasional GC match devs vs. public, too? We ought to show the noobies the greatness of good old GC as well as First Strike.

btw with your first server... something was wrong, i had an ping like if i played on a US server, so gaming experience was not very good for me, though i played squadleader and it wasnt that important that i could hit the targets like that anyways

It was fun and really organized, then the server died and when it was relocated a free for all ensued with some organization.

still had a blast killing devs with my mines over and over and over again

It could of been better. I was hoping for a devs&testers vs public, an organized game, but it just turned into frantic mayhem. I wasnt bothered with it after couple of rounds of Mos Espa.
