Do i need to redownload patch 1.25?
BF2142 must be patched to 1.25. You don't need to repatch it after installing First Strike.

So here i go1. When download is complete do i need to download anything of more like the FS patch or bf2142 patch 1.25?
2. If i download this can i still play the normal maps "I know noob question"
3.Are there any ranked FS servers?
4 Is it or will become a 1 player Map?
5. Whats the point of space battles? Is it just to kill as many ships as you can?
6. Will anything change from the normal game besides the new maps?
7. I noticed theres new weapons like a huge shield can i use this in non-FS maps?
8.Are there alot of FS servers?

1. Make sure 1.25 is installed before 1.1 just FYI.
2.Yes you can.
3. No, FS will not affect your 2142 stats either.
4. Dnamro has a singleplayer minimod available for download on these forums.
5. On Escape from Hoth, you need to take the Gallofreetransports to the jump point. On Taloraan you have to destroy the opposing teams Capitol vessels.
6.There are thousands of changes from regular 2142. HAve you not realized this is STARWARS?
STORM TROOPERS, STAR DESTROYERS, TIE FIGHTERS, BLASTERS. SPACE BATTLES.
The list goes on forever.
7.You cannot use the FS mod content on normal 2142. You can however use these items in 2142 maps if you download hte single player minimod which adds BOTS to 2142 maps with the 2142 weapons and content.
8. Yes there are lots all over the world.

You'll need to download the 1.1 client patch and patch 1.25 if you don't have it.

Yes, just don't use the FS startup icon.

No, I'm pretty sure this is impossible or people would make stat pad mods and make them ranked.

Single player is working with an additional minimod.

Destroy all the capital ships.

Tons changes - weapons, effects, models, sounds, everything.
