Yea i can find em to but ussualy there not in a map i like and cause there are only 1 or 2 good servers i cant just go somwhere else.

They are just going to improve the point system. Chill...

I can always find a server with at least 30+ people to play with. You guys just need to look harder.

Maybe people got bored by only 3 ground maps and not be able to drive armored vehicles despite the AT-ST, but most of all Kiddies need to be "honored". Effort and Reward. They want their stats to be tracked unfortunately the better players love to rule a server for some reason. In my opinion there should be no stats at all in this mod, just the ping. In space I did most of the work for our team (destroyed almost every big gun on the star-destroyer, damaged most of the capital ships badly) but I didnt get a single point. A small Tie-Fighter passing by got the full points for killing the frigate "by accident" with a short laser burst. I don't complain about that but others surely will and go back to vanilla to get "payed" for their efforts. So I'd suggest to remove the stats completely from this mod this surely will decimate the player-base a bit further but the remaining players would be team players.

Maybe many people should add a banner to their homepage, if they got one.

Another idea that I have: Ask your ingame BF2142 friends, wether they are interested in playing FS

I think you need to look at your filters, because there are currently around 100 servers as you can see on http://www.game-monitor.com/search.php? … l&pg=1

But there are a lot of unpopulated servers, I wish people would shut them down again instead of fragmenting the small playerbase. There is almost 30 times as many slots available as needed.

Right now 129 are playing First Strike. You can see the usage on this graph

Hard to speculate but we know for sure that some people...
a) downloaded the mod and didnt like it, so it was therefore uninstalled, making it we gain a download but not getting a player
b) got tired of it already as most of the kids nowadays have adhd so they get bored of things too quickly
c) people got sick of crashes and didnt have the patience to wait for the patch and therefore didnt get the patch or
d) they didnt expect a patch so soon and they havent looked back yet

Its a shame that while we have tons of good servers, its always a pain in the neck to find servers. They are either totally full or totally empty. :-/

So ive noticed that there are a lot of empty servers or near empty ones, so I was wondering how many people actualy have this mod and is the community growing?
