hey man! Thanks! All I did was turn down the lighting, dynamic lighting, and dynamic shadows to medium, with no noticable quality defects, but with SUPER AWSOME PERFORMANCE! But Im still getting those bugs in space....except the rough flying one...and I rose my res to 1024x768 and my pc just eats it up!

eww 800x600.... ewww i don;t have that exact card i have 7900GTO and it loves 1024x768

Optimum Performance and Quality for this card?

Ok, so, I have a GeForce 7600GS with everything on high (but no AA) and it set at 800x600 85Hz resolution. I have a gig of ram and a 3.4 Ghz processor. Things seem to be a little choppy in space...but it seems internet related (or mod related). I can fly without a hitch, its just that when I see fighter fly past, they dont fly with that "smoothness" you see in the movie.

And on top of that, whenever I fire, it can see elongate green/red (or none at all) dots at the very tip of my crossair, not the intended muzzle flash with your cockpit lighting up and a thick devestating bolt, flying from below or the sides of your ship. And, whenever someone is firing at me, it reminds me of the old X-Wing Series lasers; very pixelated and jaggedy lasers...how do I fix? Who is there to call? AH! GHOSTBUSTERS! No...MYTHBUSTERS! dangit...FSDEV TEAM! WOOO!

So yeah...how do I fix this and what is the optimum setting I should have my card at?
