Hey,

I downloaded the mod the day it came out (was extremely excited about it) and once I got in to play I had something happen...it froze, I believe I was playing the space map...I forgot the name of it, it's not escape from hoth though, the other one

Anyway, I was playing that map and my game froze on me, the type of freeze where the sound repeats over and over and you can't minimize or anything, you just have to resort to pressing the restart button. So I didn't play it for awhile because I didn't have time but I went back in today, after installing the patch to see if it was better.

I was then playing tatooine and after about 5 minutes of play time it did the the same freeze problem....so I restarted and jumped into a escape from hoth server, this time I got lucky and it didn't freeze, but I was getting bored because the tickets were high and we couldn't win so I went into tatooine again (all of these have been different servers) so I played this for about 15-20 minutes and I froze once again...and I've now given up.

So something is faulty, not sure if I have some incompatible hardware or what but since I built this computer (almost two years ago) I've only had it crash in-game once, until first strike, and I've crashed 3 times with FS.

Below is my system configuration:

AMD Opteron 170 2.0GHz Dual Core
EVGA Geforce 8800GTS 320MB
Kingston 2GB RAM
ASUS A8N-SLI Motherboard
Creative Audigy 2 ZS Soundcard

Any thoughts?

PS I also read in another forum where a guy had the same problem, but he said it was only with land maps, I'm experiencing it with space maps as well.
