well it is corded but its got a laser light deal on the bottom of it (ehh whats it called ??)

You actually have ALL of the keys you could ever need where you want them - you can set it up to have "layers" so that when you press a "shift" button you can change the operation of all the buttons

I have nimble fingers. And I have thumbs. And with those thumbs and extra fingers I can stretch across my keyboard and do two things at once. Unless you've blown off some of your fingers with an m80 or something I still don't see how anyone could possibly find those pieces of crap worthwhile. Go back to your consoles.

So I guess the answer to "Have you actually used one?" is NO then

To be clear I am NOT saying using a NOSTROMO N52 is "better" than a standard keyboard - but it is DEFINITELY more comfortable if you are gaming for long periods of time (e.g. 3hrs + at a time)

If you make the leap to an N52 you do need to "re-learn" how to play - i.e. instead of stretching your nimble fingers halfway across the keyboard you just hit a key with your THUMB and shift the state of all the keys to any functions you want - effectively putting all of the keys you need under your fingers

Only you can decide whether this is "better"

Well, I am not much of a typer and I dont feel very comfortable with a keyboard unless I am looking at it. Of course I wouldnt get many kills if I am staring at my keyboard the whole round!

i have also been using a logitec  dual analog controller for the space maps   and it was alot easier to program the keys for this game as opposed to bf2

I've seen some similar models by Saitek etc. ... anyone use those?

I absolutely LOVE it - it is VERY comfortable for gaming as your palm kinda "rests" over the hump on the N52, leaving all of your fingers dangling over the important keys

I have G7 i couldn't afford the G9 but G7 Rocks too wireless adjustable in about every way.. ecy ect.

Skip the Logitech G5 and go with the G9 you'll thank me later for it. The G9 is a killer mouse for gaming and can be customized. Yes it is a little expensive but if you're a pro gamer then it's a must.

I currently use a Saitek P990 gamepad, which sucks for FPS I know. I feel like I can be more acurate with a mouse/ keyboard and so I am ready to make the leao, but I am not fully comfortable controlling with the keyboard. But it looks like the Nostromo is a good middle ground.

I also need a new mouse and have been looking at the Logitech G5. Am I on the right path here or are there certain better mice that you'd reccomend?
