I think the voices are really good too, especially for the Imperial side..were they done in-house or did you get help from LA for those? My favourite is the voice you hear when you request /give out bacta..its full of cold, indifferent menace

Thanks for the feedback Capt'n Pepsi.

Heres the official response for yours and ShinjiKoon statements.

1: Grenade animations and firing animations

The reason why reloading wasn't included in the mod was due to the inability to find a good animator to join the mod. We have a few devs who can animate, but their skills were used elsewhere in the mod. Thus we had to use the vanilla animations for the time being (they will be getting a makeover).

3: Weapon sounds

What you must realise is our sound department has done a fantastic job. The amount of sounds they had to create for this mod certainly goes unnoticed. Each department will go through a makeover in R2, and any issues with sound will obviousally be looked at. For the record, our mod has alot more sounds than bf2142 vanilla.

4: Weapon effects

This is something I can't really speak up for. We get our information from our lore guys, and from what I understand, everything is in the correct place. We of course had to tweak a few things due to engine limitations and gameplay. But if you do have any lore issues, don't be afraid to come to us with references and we of course will look into it

5: Vehicles and maps

Well we actually have over 25 vehicles in the game, so i'm assuming you mean Ground vehicles. This is an area we will improve on, but for R1 we had the hard job of creating both space and ground. We've essentially created 2 mods in 1, and because of that, we've had to limit our resources a little bit for ground. We wanted to concentrate on infantry fighting and balancing for R1, which is why all of the ground maps are fairly small. This of course will get addressed for R2.

6: Officers

The trick with the Officer class is communication and advanced planning. The officer class is extremely useful in maps like TME and can result in a win/loss. Use the UAV (which had alot bigger scan diameter) and the whole team can see where the enemy is. Therefore you can place down your eweb in a good spot and when the enemy run round the corner BANG, your squad is waiting for them. During testing, our Officers normally had the highest scores, remember holding the ammo box can supply you and your squad mates with ammo, so your pistol has unlimited ammo. You can also pick up the eweb and move it to a new location (and you can also reload it).

7: Weapon Inbalances

Biotic grenades are the perfect weapon to use against a shield, its meant to go through them as all other grenades dont. We can't do diddly squat about building m'afraid. Carbines only overheat if you hold the button down and spray, shoot in bursts and it doesn't overheat. They're also very accurate when bursting.

1.+4. Dude, officers really rock, yeh i know, the "Stay with your Squad ****" bothered me too for a whole while and i also dont really like the ROF of the "Pistol like blasters", BUT once i played in a squad with some VOIP chatting and some guys really willing to teamwork, everything changed!! i used UAVs and we were able to wipe out masses of enemies, set up strong defensive camps with the deployable gun, or kept us swarming over the enemy with just a right placed beacon

but agreed, that scope the officer got is pretty much useless most of the time, since anyone you can see with it can also be shot with your pistol, so no sense in looking through it at all for me...

2. about the biotic grenades, well its fine that they go through shields, but with them going through walls i really had my problems too, but i think its not possible any other way if u really want them to penetrate the deployable shields

3. they dont overheat if you just shoot in bursts, staying on the fire button for too long isn't a good choice for any weapon, agreed they kinda lack in accuracy

4. see above

5. thats why you have to get the right spot... then it smurfing owns!!!! also: falling through ground??? wtf? never heard of that or experienced it!
