I had the same problem today - I'm guessing that server is running v1.0

I may have to look at running my own server so I can get a game today since the only other server running has a password on it *grumbles*

i deleated everything and just installed the mod and patch again, works

Having 2 directories of Bf2142 on different versions doesnt work. There is a version registry key, that needs to be changed.

^same concept, just change the value to what version you want to run at the time.

Im about 90% sure thats what it is.

When you reinstalled, did you keep 2 versions again? It only likes one at a time.

Hey, I cannot either play, I have version 1,1 del first strike and 1.25/1.40 beta (I have 2 installations) and when I enter any server, when loading menu finishes the game put me into the main menu with this reason: "This server admits players who have not modified their version del battlefield, please returns to the official version del battlefield to be able to enter" and what not to become, I have uninstalled and to return to install, but nothing follows equal, that I do?

In game, you can click on Community and select Custom Games. according to mine I have Battlefield 2142 version 1.25 and First Strike Build 4 ?!??! Doesn't quite work 100%

Unfortunately, I'm not sure there is a way to check what patch you have. You can download the 1.1 patch here, though.

If it lets you install, then you didn't have it yet and you should be good to go

Do you have the 1.1 patch or just R1? If you have the 1.1 patch the server might still be running 1.0, if not, you should get it as most servers are running 1.1

Hi i have a problem with First Strike. I can load it up and get to the point when the game loads. Then when i press join game or deploy it goes back to the server lsit and says-

'this server does not allow customized content, please change your cutomised version back to the current version.

I am definatley joining a first strike server and i dont think i have changed anything
