Ah, OK, two things.

1. There's a possibility the people who step on mines simply have the 3D map turned off. Hit ALT to toggle it on or off. Why on Earth you'd want to disable it is beyond me.

2. You can disarm and pick up mines you yourself have placed with the Pickup Kit (default G) key.

I say mines are great as they are, but yes, you definitely need to communicate and think more when placing them.

Stardestroyersarecool wrote:

How about you dont lose points for a proxy mine tk?

Well i cut live with that and also not getting points for a actuly kill, first off all i play for the team and with my team to win the hole match to be honest i cuten care less for points dosent realy show enything (i mean somone can have shitload off points on the escape from Hoth map and all he did is fly a Transport and the Tie´s crashed into him and he get alot off points) what im trying to say is people still play medics and use the 2 different grenades they have, even though it dosent show up as a kill atleast i dont get a messege that i killed somone with a medic grenade and so i wouldent care iff i get a kill with a proximity mine, aslong as it stop´s the enemy, i would be more then happy.

So please make so its still possible to spot a frindly mine but also remove the kill and the TK iff possible im all in for that. I mean the only thing that would happen is the guy that moves into the mine frindly or not would die and iff he is a frindly trying to anoying people with giving them TK etc etc he wouldet achive enything then he´s own death, and a respawn.
