yes, cause in the mod, there is no single player and this caused the CTD when trying to play SP in the mod, but as suggested above, try the minimod

Hmm. I think it may be the lack of single player in the mod. Download the single player mod in the general section

Hi, I just got this mod, I have 2142 1.25, and when I go to single player, and click "quick action", it loads up to the point where you click "join game"; when I click that, Windoze says "BF2142 has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down". What to do? I have Windows XP Pro SP2, a nVidia 6200 256MB with latest drivers, and an SB Live! 5.1 sound card.

My only other problem was I couldn't find any servers, but I think I found the solution to that problem already, so I'm going to go try it now. Thx!
