I have some great Endor footage, but alas it is in a empty local server. It -IS- possible to do a great speedbike segment by myself, but it would require alot of greenscreen work in AfterEffects and some damage work with Combustion, not to mention the sound work to pull it all together...

Perhaps someone here can point me to a demo enabled server, the real thing always looks better.

another day on the job being a rebel or imperial... now what you should put on is a race through endor with speeder bikes. now that would be tight. like 6 speeder bikes all driving full speed through the forest

Did you use Dnamro's SP mod for the space shots those dogfighting shots?

If your looking for information on filming or rendering, check out some of the Video Tutorials at GamerzTheatre... tons of great stuff there from Battledirector and AfterEffects to Vegas and 3dRipper work using 3dsmax. We have some the finest Machinima producers in the world, including almost all of the top Battlefield film contest winners.

I am so happy I found the FirstStrike MOD, dont let a 1min low quality trailer fool you... my FirstStrike film is going to be something very special.

That was rendered out of Sony Vegas into .wmv(V9) 1280x720p then converted to Divx. There is about a 20% drop in quality using this method, but it still looks good and really helps for file size and streaming.

I find SP filming to be OK, but finding a powerful demo server and motivated players would always be my first choice. But alas, those are absent as far as I can tell. This film was shot in Dnamro's SP MOD.

Looks awesome! Man, I am always surprised at how good a codec DivX is, though by now I shouldn't be.

I'm all for fan-made films about FS, because any exposure to the greater gaming community pays off in spades (new players).
