Welcome to the forum! Answers to your questions follow:

1. Or set view distance to 100%, which will fix the problem.

2. You have an artificial horizon (the two grey lines in the center of your HUD). Use it.

3. It strangely seems that no matter how well you spell out objectives for players, there will always be those who manage to overlook them. Damned annoying.

4. The devs know of this, it's been posted already.

5. New to me.

Anyways, welcome to the forums and the mod.

1. INside of Emperial Starship hanger won't render. I'm playing on my old PC (my new one I just built fried to sh!t. ...). But I don't have any of the dynamic shadows or lighting on. Whenever I play on this map on the emperial side, I fall into space and die about 5 times, for every 1 time I manage to find a ship to get into. I can see the planet in the background just fine, but it's the inside that is 100% black. I can't see the walls, the floors, myself or my team mates--I can see their names above their head, but that's it... IF I shoot around at the ground, I can tell where NOT to step, but I still end up falling in more often than not.

TO FIX THIS ISSUE, I would recommend one of two things: either put some railings around the edges of the hanger, so we wont fall in; or you could try to put some other type of texture for the inside of the starship.

Come to think of it, hardly any of the EXTERIOR of the starship renders at all--only when I'm facing the rear of it, does it render the circular thrusters and some other stuff, but other than that, it's just a large black void that I crash into if I'm not REALLY paying attention to the minimap.

2. When flying around in the fast attack ships, I'm getting really good at hunting down enemies and blowing them up. But it seems as soon as I've killed about 1 or 2 of them , I'm so bass ackwards that I can't tell left from right, up from down. Is there some kind of way to center the ships orientation to correct North South East West? If there's not, that would be a cool feature, to bind a key to center vehicle to NSEW. If that's not possible, some sort of indication on the vehicle's hud as to when you are facing North, with your top UP.

3. Although I have gotten used to the game modes on the different maps, it would be really nice to indicate when a control point is "Locked" so that the rest of my team will know what to do--it's very often that I'll be the ONLY one on my team defending the pertinent CP's on Endor, because they'll all be trying to take back the damn treefort or something. Maybe if you could just add a "Locked" icon above the CP's that are no longer available for the taking.

4. There are some areas on the different people maps where I just get stuck. I do quite a bit of recon work on the maps like Encounter and Tatoine, and I find myself eating a lot of grenade sandwiches to respawn, because I'll get stuck in some small areas. I couldn't possible name them all or even find them again to be honest, but is there any way we could add an "unstuck" command to the console so that we can jog ourselfs free of a sticky area???

5 Sometimes friendly names don't appear above their head. It's very rare, but It's happened to me at least 5 times where some poor bast3rd on my team will get shot to hell, because his nametag is not showing.
