You have to give it 1-3 minutes. It'll have to restart, y'know. It'll show up red, then be available soon after. Just keep reloading your server list.

yeah, usually when it crashes, i look for it but its not there

most likely, sometimes its just a random bug that occurs in vanilla bf too, when only you get disconnected but the server is still running (so you may join him again instantly), in fs you should also try to rejoin the server as fast as possible to get the other players on it again

when it says that you disconnected, does that mean the server crashed?

yeah that would be f*ckin awesome to do.. when it was first released there were servers that had almost 64 people in it but then it crashed everytime we were starting to have fun.. thankfully there isnt as many crashes as before but i still get a few everyonce in a while.

Depends on what amount of people you play with, at 64 there will be so many grenades that teams will be scattered all over the place, well... literally. I havent tried 2142 out again since i started playing FS, the rank system annoys me at certain times.

But hey, you can push your team through a meatgrinder succesfully and take a flag together, great feeling of accomplishment.

i agree too. I think it was team play that got my high marks as well. First strike has made me want to be part of a team much more.

in fs, you're nicly camped up on a platform on endor, you see someone lying down and you get him in your sights. You hold down the trigger and slowly get the redical over his head and fire! The laser hits 10 meters from the guy.... wtf m8!

I dont know exactly why, but i played battlefield 2142 today, and all of a sudden i was getting the top score every match. I usually couldnt do that! I think that playing first strike makes you better at normal battlefield maybe because the bullets are faster or somethin. Sniping was especially easy obviously because the bullets actually go where you shoot in battlfield 2142 O.o
