Wuv, two wuv is what bwings us togever today!..Oh sorry back on topic.

Yeah this has been our Phantom Menace if you will, without a debugger it is impossible to isolate these crashes. Dice has helped us with alot of problems. unfortunately even though we have isolated it to a few objects it involves our soldiers and there is nothing indicating the problem to us.

I've noticed it's happened more than once on Encounter at Mos E. I'm running east through the valley south of the crashed Corellian Corvette. Once again, I've got my scanner out. It does happen when I'm jumping over the low pieces of the wrecked buildings, there.

Still, it could be something else. I noticed once that someone killed me at that moment, or at least it was likely (was taking fire). Or not related at all, of course.

Alot of people would be jumping over stuff, so I really doubt 3 has anything to do with it...

If 2 happens consistently then maybe we should ban you from the officer class that would be a quick fix

I've noticed that while playing on an infantry map - Endor or the nighttime Tattooine map (I can never keep the Entha/Espa names straight), I always try to be an Officer/squad leader to get the benefits for the squad. If I don't, others playing SL will be a Medic and think that helps more than having spawn beacons & scanners... I digress.

These are the commonnalities of when the server crashes:

1. I'm an Officer/Squad Leader and have 4-6 people in my squad.

2. I have my scanner (UAV) out and am pressing the button to scan.

3. I may be jumping over something at the same time.

Poof. Server crash. I wait 30 secs or so, the server re-appears in my server list, and re-join with 2-3 others on Map 1. Granted, with everybody playing -- usually at least 10-20 players -- anything else could be part of the combination; but if this is what's causing it, hope it helps that I noticed.
