Since the patch I have only crashed once or twice. But then again, I havent played that much since the playerdrop.

Alt-Tab is not popular though.

Only time I crash is when I end up alt-tab to desktop. Or antiVirus forces me to desktop on a update , the game is then frozen and the screen is black , forcing me to restart.

Haven't been to the forms In a while been playing to much FS and Hellgate:london

No crashes here except for server crashes and it dosen't happen to often for me to get mad at it.

Just be quick on the draw whenever Dice releases the official 1.40 Patch, and then get in line to play on the packed servers.

Seriously though, when you get some down time go through the PC cleaning routine. (maybe even a reinstall of BF2142 and FS...again?) You were on quite often in the past. I suspect something is up with your system.

Well, i can play but out of the last 4 occasions i have tried iv never been able to play it for more than 10mins. Maybe bad timing on my part but i cant see the playerbase growing atall like this, no matter how many more maps we added.

About Ron Paul. Both him and Kucinich are good friends but I dont think theyd ever run on the same ticket even tho they are both against the Iraq War. Kucinich ,being a democrat, wants socialized domestic policies. They just dont mix on domestic issues. I think Kucinich and Gravel are the only 2 honest democrats tho.

Sorry to hear that... Though, it seems like it's on your end, as the rest of us aren't having that many problems with it - seems it's mostly server crashes. Maybe update your video drivers, make sure your settings in your shortcut are compatible with the game, etc...

The reason I ask is because I just cant play the darned thing at all. Constant crashes (mostly server side i think) to the point i dont even try to play. I know its the same for most of the people i know from my previous modding escapades .

Problem is ,due to the lack of a debugger for bf2142 the likelihood of us ever finding out what is causing the problems is minuscule. Or atleast thats how I understand the situation. Woodrow would know better on this issue.

Semi-often. Usually when some bonehead slams into me in another fighter. lol jk

Actually, it'll crash every once in a while. It happened to me on Friday a couple times. Once on Mos Espa and once on Escape from Hoth. I'm using the latest version of both the FS and 2142 Vanilla (not the Beta patch, though).

Awesome game.

As far as crashes not many, about 1 crash per 2 hours of First Strike - and those often appear to be server crashes.

Server crashes entirely. Seems random to me. Can be Mos Espa or Endor not too much of the other maps though. Always a fair amount of people on at least 10 most often more (but that could just be related to me only joining games that have a lot of people already on it).

I'm not sure but maybe you guys could find a way to see whats the servers are doing at the time of the crashes... I think that'd be better then us players randomly guessing.

I think CTD's are also related to your settings and PC specs. (at least in Titan Mode which is the only stuff I play on 2142)

I get more crashes in 2142 then first strike.
