im a horibble pilot is if say so myself, but still i dont find it to hard to shoot down other planes. it just make me sad when there are people who know how to fly strait at a AA gun from anywhere on the map to kill it.

i miss good air support in 2142. in BF2 i was the pilot of a chopper most of the times, supporting the rest of my ground clan mates. the gunship in 2142 just suck. i stil havent found out why any army would want such a weak machine. it cant support ground troops cause it easy to take down when it does. long range? if 3km is long range then yes. air fights it would lose to any century old fighter plane as soon as it shield would stop.

yeah, i have bf2 with special forces and bf2142, i hate bf2, special forces is ok(i only play one map though)

on any other map i go on theres some guy pwing in a jet, not to mention i went in a server and there was a clan there that literally were support and finding pple in most they cant see(i was one of them)

the jet helo combo in 2142 is def more balanced, even though a good pilot can cause hell its still way more balanced than bf2s jets, possibly because u actualy have a portable aa launcher that u dont really get in bf2, unless the 50. cal barrett sniper counts as aa.

I played Halo once like 4 years ago. It felt like a run and gun shooter ... nothing special. I'm very interested in Quake Wars, and have been for a while.

It wasn't harder to aim; you could be aiming perfectly and not hit the target. The guns were just very inaccurate, which is not realistic.

I wouldn't say Halo or BF2 are even close to being the worst games ever. But Halo may be the most overrated game ever, that's for sure.

i would have played quake wars but it just said unexpected error or something and shut down every time i tried to play.

halo is just really over hyped.

Not if you're used to the mechanics of BF2142. The bullets and dolphin diving are a good deal different than those in BF2 (proves that BF2142 has better gunplay if not guns than BF2 does).

Sheesh how come you absolutely HATE good games that are not broken? I mean Halo and BF have their quirks but they AREN'T even nearly unplayable (for a good amount of people) which is the halmark of the worst game ever. I mean Quake Wars Demo is deffinately worse than both of these games...

LAWL yeah it bugged the hell out of me that 2142 relys on RDX for defense but then I realized... play with FF on and bizam Titan assaults ARE SO MUCH MORE FUN. Last night I played on the 3rd Armored Calvery server and our team won 4 straight games two of which were comebackfrombehindandrapethetitan comebacks ^)^.

Hmmm I'm curious about something. Do you guys like the 40 weapon unlock system in 2142 or do you like the similar but more noob friendly unlock system for BF2?

bf2 > 2142

Although 2142 players are keen interior designers, opting to go with the nouveau claymore/rdx combonation tiling. Ceramic is so passé.
