I installed my bf2142 to a drive other than the default location. I.E. E:\ instead of C:\. When I installed fs I assumed it was going to the correct location. It had actually created a new folder on another drive and installed there. No matter what I did, I could not get it to install to the proper location. I ended up having to manually place the files in the correct location. Also the shortcut on my desktop was pointing to the wrong location and needed to be corrected.

I did all this quite some time ago now. I just remembered about this post now. That was my fix.

I updated bf2142 before installing first strike. I got an error saying it needed to be version 1.25 or something like that, but gave me an option to ignore the error(im a dumbass) witch I did. When I try to launch FS I get the error "This appliication has failed to start because MEMORY.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." Which of course i tried to no avail.
