]]>The typo in the vid is my fault. As canadiens said, I just kind of rushed it out to try and get some publicity for the mod. Really 9/10 people aren't going to notice a little quick spelling mistake like that anyhow. If it was a huge deal I'd redo the vid, however I really don't think it's incredibly important and my time is better off focused elsewhere.
However, if you don't like typos, you're going to go nuts when you get in game. 90% of the stuff is full of typos and grammatical issues because the person who originally wrote it all up was not natively English speaking. That will all be fixed in the next patch of course, but the Dev team was extremely rushed to meet the deadline they set for the release and gameplay was a much larger priority than spelling. The first patch was again rushed to attempt to fix the crashing bugs and really isn't much beyond what probably should've been released the first time around.

I've been around star wars games since around '95 (I'm really not a nerd though...just something in my spare time) and play JKA: Movie Battles II regularly--but this looks awesome.

The reason I have a problem with errors such as this is because what is this supposed to say to people who come to learn about this mod?
"Let the game/gameplay speak for itself!" one might say. However, what does this say to someone who, like myself, comes for a visit to learn about the mod?
I don't really care, and it's not a big deal, it's just that it makes the person who made that video/are in charge of this not so bright.

I agree with you 100%, actually. I'd say in this case it was just the fact that we wanted to get a news post out quickly and Imperial has a lot of stuff on his plate and shouldn't need to be doing video production.
Anyway, no excuse for bad copywriting, for sure.
