Hamachi is a centrally-managed zero-configuration virtual private networking (VPN) freeware application. (thats a definition from google )

its basically a program that lets you make a network sort of, so when your on the same one (network thingy)  as your friend, you make a game on local (since its in the network) and your friend may join

January 9th.

Looking back it's felt like a long 3.5 months since FSmod's release. Eager for the next update and hoping for more maps and co-op or singleplayer content, I thank those who have been working in the free time for this incredible mod. The singleplayer minimod has become the best pacifier over the past 6 weeks. Between it's more frequent updates and my own personal tweaks (more uniform usage or appropriate uniforms) it makes me anxious to see what's next. Will there be fly-able shuttles dropping IMPs into position while the rebels use their heavier but older hover tanks? Will rebel speeders swoop in to lay down air support as the strike teams below assualt IMP fortifactions? I can't wait. I'd prefer to see star fighters used primarily in space maps and speeders used "on world". Beside the Lucasarts games we didn't frequently see star fighters used in an air to ground attack role, maybe that's why they're called star fighters. Anyway diary I hope it comes soon.
