Ya i have EaW.... been thinking about getting it's expansion... however i feel that when playing Galactic Conquest, it all gets a bit repetitive, especially the land battles... (which usually results in me blowing up most planets with the Death Star instead...)

Arachon, you want to give Empire At War a try if you haven't. Then your search for the ultimate SW RTS will be complete. Definately blows Force Commander out of the water.

I only played the demo... but after being used to Galactic Battlegrounds, i thought the graphics, the game design and the resource system was purley awesome... but that was quite a while ago...

I remember playing skirmishes a good deal, but since it was all a matter of getting off to a good start, giving you more command points than your enemy, for then to use said CPs to steamroll your opponent, I consider the whole thing broken.

I remember that game, I had some fun with it. I never finished it though I mainly did skirmishes, didn't do much of the campaign. I found a cheat where you could spawn any unit in the entire game, and I made a gigantic army of ewoks and sent them to wreak havoc upon the enemy base. Hehe good times.

Going back even further - anyone play Rebellion/Supremacy? That was a good game. Very old but good. Hehe and Galactic Battlegrounds. You know what I'm gonna go start an 'old Star Wars game' thread in the Star Wars section.

I'm almost positive I still have my force commander cd somewhere. It was a good game, for what it was.
