Well if you are planning on hanging around the forums please read at least the first page of threads for identical threads? I seriously thought that this thread was a different one about the same thing which was posted awhile back...

lol, Sorry that I never replied to this, I probably seem like a real noob now. The reason I even had this problem in the first place was that I hadn't played 2142 in months and had completely forgotten that the menu was that different from BF2. I solved the problem myself, and tbh I never got around to coming back and replying. Just wanted to resolve this.

This is a bit outdated. I'm assuming that since he hasn't checked back in a few days that he's either solved his issue or abandoned FS all-together.

Yeah make sure that "Ranked" isn't checked.

or read the manual?

if not:
click the "advanced tab"
uncheck all except for same mod
then it should work

Okay, I just installed First Strike, but there are no servers. I installed 2142, then patch 1.4, then First Strike, did I miss something?
