Then you need to redirect your short cut accordingly.... and make sure FS installed to the right folder as well...

I have my BF2142 folder outside of my program files. Would that make a difference?

well if you install lets say the EA game Need for spee and you change the install directory from (cept disk it doesnt mather whats here)\Electronic Arts\Need for Speed into \Electronic Arts like you did with the bf2142 instalment, lots of problems could happen.

I made the same mistake when I installd BF2142.
When you're going to install it to a different drive(B:\ for example) don't change the entire default directory,just the drive letter.
For example;C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142 is the default directory so only change the drive letter:
B:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142

you should realy keep the install directory as it is, mayb change the drive sure, but if you leave out the Battlefield 2142 in \Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142\ then the next EA game you install will mess up your files.
the drive shouldnt mather much.

Alright, I'll try Silver's and see if it works.

If Silver's idea doesn't work, then would I have to reinstall it to the C drive?

***FS worked on my F drive until I reinstalled BF2142 again for the 1.25 patch and then for the 1.40 patch!***

thats a weird install directory.
are you sure it shouldnt be
F:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142\BF2142.exe

my shortcut is
target: "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142\BF2142.exe" +modPath mods/FirstStrike +fullscreen 1 +menu 1

start: "C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 2142"

Quite possibly.

Try starting the mod by going to "Community" in the BFHQ, clicking "Custom Games", FirstStrike, and "Launch Mod"

Make sure FS is installing to the same directory and the shortcut matches. if no joy then I'd suggest moving BF2142 back to C drive then installing FS as I never get problems that way.

It did not work!

Redownloaded the v1.1 Full Client and installed again but no luck!

Check my properties that didn't work because I have BF2142 installed on my External Hardrive which is F instead of C! o.O

I don't know what is wrong! Help?
