I love playing FPSs on consoles (especially on Wii), but the PC version of COD4 is really the only way to go for me. Now if only my PC could run it. Hmmm....

Lets not forget how awesome single player is. Also ive heard that if you shoot down the chopper in the last mission your team survives.

COD 4 single player is excellent, the closest thing you'll get to staring in a Hollywood film 10/10 from me  (PC version)

I have many many problems with CoD's singeplayer approach.  If you play it on anything harder than normal it is ridiculously tedious, and not fun at all.  It basically ruins the experience/atmosphere because there is always only ONE way of approaching each situation, and if you fail, you just have to do the same thing over and over in a senseless trial and error process regardless of your skill (continuously respawning enemies? => cheap solution instead of programming good AI).  While the singleplayer mission presentation, scripting, graphics (kinda), and polish are impressive, there is virtually no replayability due to the highly linear gameplay approach.  If it weren't for the multiplayer, I would never have a reason to put the disc back in my xbox after finishing the campaign on veteran.

I'm aching to get my hands on COD4. It looks so freak'n awesome. *drools on keyboard* But FS v1.2 is going to be the shizzle. *drools some more* I can't wait.

lol, sinnce cod4 came out i have stopped doing anyhting with 2142, also prolly had something to do with the clan i was in going completely haywire and such but yeah..
