Yes vista did steal a lot of things from a mac but imo that's what makes vista just an alright OS and not something I love to use.

it was so bad with the virus'...... the day after the virus scanner died [for the 2nd time].... it took 4 hours to get it to a point where i could download McFee..... it found 300+ virus' while i was at freaking school.... unless somone was able to hack the computer itself... it got really bad.... and we have had so many issues with our PC over the 2006-2007 year... we were like hell, we are getting a Mac

and Imperial, if ya have it in .rar file form anywhere... i can download it... the only issue is that .exe files are Windows only thing.... so i cant use it....

and i have already bought the Mac version of the game, we are not running boot camp cause we are tired of all the damn virus'

If I recall, you may have to BUY 2142 for the mac.  Then you can try to download the mod to your PC,and unpack it somewhere there and then copy the files wherever they belong on the Mac.

That is correct.  The PC version of 2142 does not run natively on Mac.

In order to play 2142 on Mac, you have several options:

1) the easiest and best option: go buy 2142 for mac
2) Install a windows virtual machine (advanced users only)
3) Install windows on a Boot Camp partition and run 2142 on that.

Though if I'm not mistaken, the First Strike mod was made from the ground up for the Windows version of the game. First Strike may or may not work.

Ok, after my hard drive first crashed in october, i have not reinstalled First Strike, not b/c i dont like the mod... but its just we only had 37GB of hard drive space on that computer... and 1/2 of it was already used.... so yea....

Anyways, im back now... but i have a MAC...

I can still download it, but the one issue is is that First Strike Download is a .exe file.... Mac's cant run .exe so im kinda stuck....

so if any of you have a Mac, can you give me the link of where to download?

if not, can you make a version of the mod thats fully up to date... but its just like all the files, [so it downloads and inside is just all the folders of the mod, that i can then copy into where it needs to go]

I HOPE that if you researched how to make an installer for macs on a windows machine, and then posted here with your finding, then the FSDevs would make an installer for macs. I suggest waiting for the 1.2 patch though.

And if they don't do it by a week after 1.2 comes out, I will rar it up for you and put it on my site
