You get experience and medals and pins and whatnot, you just don't get to keep them.

Another strange thing i noticed when there are only a few people playing, if you don't join a squad you get to use all your "toys" if you do join a squad with, say, only one other person you don't. Also the other night i got a "combat effiecency pin". Didn't think you got awards in modded games.

It really gets me that anytime I happen to check the servers while at work, there's about 15-20 ppl on, but they're just a few playing by the time I get home. At least on the weekends I can usually find a full server.

Heh, in my case, there's always >13 people on when testing, and 0-4 on when I can actually play.

IMO, things like the League and community games are our best option for coordinating at this point. We really need more community games, so I will say something to the rest of the devs.

Well, my problem isn't really with FS, but more BF2142 in general...My damn wireless connection refuses to allow me to have an enjoyable experience in battlefield games...and its ONLY battlefield games. It's got to the point where it just isn't fun to play any more.

We have been talking about running another wire up to my room once I get my new computer, so hopefully when that happens it'll be fixed and I'll play more.

As for sitting in empty servers, i do. What i do notice alot is people join, never get into game, then get disconnected. Problems their end?

You mean the people who join the server and don't spawn, so that team balance gets messed up as the game thinks they're actually contributing? I have no idea what's up with those. If it's some sort of system malfunction, it needs to be fixed. If it's just that they alt-tab out of FS and do something else while waiting for the next map to start, **** them. It gets on my nerves bit time when I'm in a 3v3 on, say, Mos Espa and suddenly get steamrolled because my two teammates are sitting there idling and I have to take on three people singlehandedly. Servers should kick people who idle for more than 30-60 seconds.

I haven't been able to play due to a lack of the 2142 1.4 patch. I downloaded it yesterday and had a game with Omen this morning, we absolutely blitzed the opposition on tallorran. I stole all 4 of his capital ship kills .

we got a lot of fights pending in the FSL too .
If you think your testicles have fully developed, you could always
try your hand at a league fight as a substitute , to see if you can
handle the no respawn environment
