But like they said, the only known persons where Jango Fett and Boba Fett, Jango Fett used it in Episode II and Boba in Episode VI

Maybe more persons which such kind of suit had a Jetpack

They are battle suits, I think it is just the first Phase of Dark Trooper that was a droid.

Bunny hoppers are annoying enough already. They don't need jet packs to jump even higher .

It's a fun idea, and I've seen fun ideas before, but its also nice to know that this mod will be extremely accurate, even if it means I have to dump my fun idea of lightsabor battles, which btw, would be insanely fun.

It's hard enough to hit people moving mostly in 2 dimensions with the laggy BF2142 engine, I can't imagine trying to hit some one moving in 3

It's a shame that jetpacks won't happen. I'm sure that most people would think that jetpacks on land and in space would be loads of fun.

As for your idea, first of all jet packs have been suggested before and won't be in. Secondly, FS isn't Battlefront, which just threw maps and kits and whatever together and made it a fun, but inaccurate experience. The FS devs strive to recreate the SW universe as accurately as possible, which means there won't be, for example, a map where you hop around on the Death Star in space suits.

Uh... Jetpacks? This isn't Tribes (sadly), this is Star Wars. As I recall, the only people to use jetpacks in the movies were Jango and Boba Fett, with the former being before the GCW era, which FS is in. I don't believe jetpacks were widely used to begin with, especially on the Death Star, which never had any infantry battles on its surface anyways.
