Here's a little vid I did messing around with Windows Moviemaker last night. It's still a WIP, very rough, and has some ugly shots that need to be replaced and others that are way too long. (I couldn't get the 'embed code' to work - the forum message toolbar no longer comes up for me)

It was alright, the shots barely went with the music but then again i've started to be a perfectionist after making videos for a year

I meant its both Linkin Park.

1) Linkin Park is like the most overused band in pretty much any game videos.
2) I don't like Linkin Park
3) It doesn't fit Star Wars

Doesn't have t be Star Wars music really, Sir Markus made a sweet vid one time with the sound track from some anime movie he watched or something and it fit very well.

I think either actual Star Wars soundtrack music, or perhaps music from First Strike would be your best bet for a good score to your videos.

Ok, response to a few comments. Yes music could have been a little better, but I couldnt be bothered to search through all my music files, so just went with something 'rocky'. not sure why you state its used twice Ty, theres two different songs there.

The FSL match, I'll look through it tonight and try to get something up. May not have got it all though due to the server resets. Got a feeling I may have forgotten to hit record again

BR, not many (any??) of the servers I've played on seem to have BR running and I dont know enough about it to set it up myself. Would be good to have some BR footage though, I'm really starting to enjoy making these vids.

Talon, indeed there was some great team play last night. I was sticking close to our corvettes and picking off bombers, then moving out to catch fighters engaging our bombers, or trying to sneak in behind someone. I'm hoping theres another busy night tonight. I may try the BR thing if I get time to look in to it.

overall, I think most people seem to enjoy the actual footage, its just the music that people dont like. If anyone has in mind a genre they would like to see used then I'll bear it in my mind, but often its down to individual taste. This one was just kind of strung together to get something posted up, but I would like to make a more 'professional' one to advertise the game and try to get more people in. Anyone know where i can get the FS voice files? I've extracted the ones from the game folder but they are all disjointed. I'd quite like to add some of those in to the next one.

Yeah, there was some good scraps on Taloraan last night, good squad work and intense action all the way, even good capital ship tactics with them flying in groups to support each other. Our Corvette even attempted to get back to our Transports to repair but the Imperial Bombers managed to take him out before he could reach their relative safety. Good matches all.
