What card you running Nvidia or Ati ( Ati cards you gotta be sure you completely uninstall the old driver before you install the new one or you may get conflicts)

Had that once with BFV, started to panic but turned out to be the graphics card driver. If you haven't just updated your driver and the problem has just started looks like your graphics cards about to die
Try running 3D mark (2003/2001 if your systems old) see what comes back

thats called a broken monitor. Get an lcd screen. cheaper for the size.

Speaking of monitors does anyone know what causes the thing where the graphics go all weird and all these spikes starting in the centre of the screen appear and get wider as they move towards the edge of the screen? Kinda hard to describe.
