the ideat to do a trailer just popped up in my mind while playing one of the gaming evenings - so i started to capture random scenes. With 1.2 i ll redo the whole trailer (what means: recording new stuff..without icons, tags and a higher res). Until then, it (trailer + gaming evenings) may be a success... i already read some comments, that even purchased bf2142 to be able to play the mod!!

you can get rid of nametags but you need to put it in the game init file before you start playing the game.

t's something like renderer.drawnametag 0, in the game ini. (been along time since i did it so i may not be 100% correct from memory).

oh and hitting left alt (default) will remove the 3D map icons.

I ll look into uploading a hd version. Its a bit of "fan stuff", i did with unregistered fraps and the winxp movie maker (and the FS Sound- and musicfiles included ^^) for advertising the gaming evenings (and FS) ..so, as i am really not a "pro" on doing movies: thanks for all the commendation.

renderer.drawhud 0 doesnt solve the problem (had this set to 0 already). Namtag distance would be the key.

Very nice job! That came out really well imo. If people start watching that they might download the mod and join the servers on friday nights!
That way the battles can get a little more exciting with more people on each side. ^_^

kid GTFO...let me say again what a honor it is to post with the creators of the above video and the DEVS. of this mod. Most of you are below the legal drinking age yet you put forth an ever continuing masterpiece.......I only hope that the soundtrack dude just converted John Williams to MIDI....if all of this is an original score........Lord forgive me.....I am not close, nor will I ever be- worthy.

Pretty good

All the 3D icons and playertags were a tad annoying though. I think you can get rid of them by typing: renderer.drawhud 0 in the console
