Guys good news!

The Last Clan (TLC) now have a first strike server running, although we will have to wait for the server to update if you are using 1.5

So anyone interested in a bit of FS Tonight, Australian?

I have the same problem in NZ., I find it easiest to play on the US servers (WolfGaming, DS and any others that get populated). I get pings of around 200 -250 which can make it a bit of a challenge for all concerned, but its the only option available. Used to try the Aussie server but apart from the first few weeks after the release of ver 1 there was never anybody on it. To play the US servers I normally have to play early in the morning.

[BLP] FirstStrike Server was running in Australia up until about a month ago. Due to the lack of hits. IE NONE over a period of about 2 months. and the continuing delay in Version 1.2. I decided to save my money and shut it down. It has been converted to a COD4 server.

First strike has been a excellent mode for BF2142. It appears to be dieing very fast in the AUS/NZ region. None of the major ISP running game servers nolonger support it.

Best of luck finding one. OR Start your own. Its not hard.

Bummer, looks like single player FS and vanilla 2142 for a while.
As for an Aussie FS clan I personally have no experience nor idea of how organize such a thing. But I would certainly support any such effort.

I'm sure Un-Co (FSDev) would be happy to see an AU server, it's one of his most frequent complaints I think.

Even better why not just rent a server between yourselves? Or even start a first strike Australian clan? running a server and a clan can actually be quite good fun Server prices are quite resonable as long as you don't have to outlay for "RANKED" ones
Best place to start recruiting is your own friends and their friends etc. It soon picks up

tough luck - i only met 2 or 3 others from your region and they all had the exact same problem.

hopefully someone is willing to rent a decent server for you guys over there

First off, Hi there I just joined the forums after DL'ing the mod. And it is a fantasic mod, kudo's to everyone who worked on it.

But is there any chance of an Australasia region server to support this mod? Just looking at the servers on offer and I don't have one option with a ping below 250.
