Well considering the Clone wars lasted for a pretty long time, they could have slowed down the age acceleration to make them last longer and longer as the republic already had a huge legion already and pumping them out as fast as possible may not have been the priority but longer lasting clones may have been, so at the very end they make have been able to live a lot longer.

I thought the first batch of clones (ones who killed the Jedi) had a built in life exepctency of only 5-10 years?

To my understanding, some clones where used for special squads and missions, most where murdered or (since there clones) got rid off, in ep3 you can see obi talking about: 'its gonna take a while for the clones to understand what happended", i think the emperor used his clones to colonize planets, get new recruits, and when he got himself a army, he got rid of em, since if they found out the emperor whas the real traitor, they would turn on him. So imo he just mass-murdered 'em, tis a shame.

The Empire established quite a few cloning facilities hidden throughout the galaxy after the Kamino incedent. The methods of cloning the Kaminoans had perfected was the only reliable, safe way to mass produce clones on the level the Empire wanted.

Actually Kaminoan Cloning was dropped after the Clone wars, but not before the emperor chose a few new templates to clone more troops for the new order but a good number of clone troopers remained, and they had remarkably qualities.

New recruits come from imperial academies (Han Solo and Kyle Katarn are fine example, as is Crix Madine)

The cloning the emperor uses on the dark empire are Spaarti cloning cylinders

Actually, you have it backwards. The vast majority are clones pulled from various genetic templates, but a very large portion are conscripts.

You're absolutely correct TY2D2; most are recruits, drawn from numerous worlds in the Galactic Empire. There are some clones still in use, but these are usually assigned to units with special duties.

Troopers are new recruits. Han Solo went to the imperial acadamy remember? No doubt some clones were left over, but afaik, new recruits only. Didnt the Emperor hide the cloning technology so only he could use it anyway?

I am pretty sure the StormTroopers are all new recruits and new strands of clones, except for the 501st are old clones and even they are being replaced and dying off by the GCW Era. I think some of the 501st legion were also separated and made into commanders of other Stormtrooper legions...

Someone correct me if I am wrong

Are Empire's Stormtroopers thoose old clones whit new armour or are they new recruits or something? I didnt find in google or wikis. Do you know?
