As you were all warned a few days ago we'd be experiencing some changes of servers. This mainly wasn't by choice (our sponsorship was up with our former server). Running the forums and, more importantly, the test server costs a very pretty penny per month so we're having to look for ways to meet those costs. Trust us, we're not making money with those things, but rather providing a way to continue developing the mod till 1.2 is released (which should hopefully be SOON!)

Thanks for the tip, just added them, massive improvement. I don't want ads in my face, if there's one thing I hate it's having some company's crappy products splashed all over my screen.

Just get Firefox+NoScript+Adblocker and you don't see anything.(I didn't even know there were ads until I read this )

There should be a "pay to remove ads option" as well as a "Donate" button

Coincidence that this coencides with 1.2 being leaked? I think not. Theres definetly something sinister going on here.

Yeah, it doesn't look promising to be honest, I'm sure they weren't here before. The forums also appear to take much longer in loading than they ever used to, likely as a result of all these ads. As the thread author stated, if you need money set up a donation button, I'm sure you'd get more out of that than these tacky adverts all over the boards.

Seems we now have those annoying underlined-wordvertisments in our forums. If you really need money this badly, put up a paypal donate button and add in some skyscraper ads, but for hamsters's sake don't desecrate these sacred forums withs these hideous ads
