			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>It&#039;s not wierd, a good polishing needs a soft cloth and some kind of polishing wax.<br />Using natural fibres like cotton and natural grease like fat of a pig with some clay is the traditional way to polish metall...</p><p>But polishing always leave behind a clear and regular &quot;polishing track&quot;. In case of high glossy polishing this tracks are smaller than 1 µm and very regular.<br />If the tracks are not regular or bigger than 1 µm the surface is not high glossy, meaning the light is reflected in a more diffuse way.</p><p>With DVDs and CDs you must be very carefull to avoid damage to the data tracks, so i strongly recomend to use a special machine for this work, so the tracks of the polishing don&#039;t interfer with the data tracks.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Be aware what NoCDs Cracks may contain Spyware, Adware or Trojans. </p><p>If you have Trouble with your DVD, it may be caused by the firmware of your DVD-Drive, try an other DVD-Drive.<br />Updating the DVD-Drives Firmeware can be a solution, but as any other firmware update it can damage your DVD-Drive.</p><p>I can only speak for Germany, but it seems what EAs Customer Support is very generious if you have the Orginal Game and want to change your DVD because its broken oder damaged.<br />Just ask them.</p><p>A last Solution: at some Places were you can rent DVDs and Games you can also let polish your DVDs - this may help if your DVD is scratched and EA wont change it to a new one.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Make sure your not running it in compatability mode for windows xp ( right click on icon, properties, compatability) Also whole your in there (shortcut, advanced , then click the run as administrator box)<br />This game and 2142 will not run in compatibility mode and you&#039;ll get the no CD eeror all the time</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>BF2142 does that frequently.&nbsp; Just take your disc out and put it back in a few times, sometimes you have restart your PC too.&nbsp; The disc reading methods it uses are terrible.</p>]]></content>

But then I get this error and i have the dvd in, and i even tried installing a no cd patch im running it with administrator.</p><p>ok didnt turn out to well but it says</p><p>&#039;Pleasure ensure the Battlefield 2142 Install Disc is in the drive, select OK and restart the application.&#039;</p><p>hmmm... so obviously i might have to reinstall bf2142.</p>]]></content>
