Ahh, well I got server admin to restart the thing and that seems to have sorted it.

It's a well know Serverbug of BF2 and BF 2142.

We have it once on a new Server (Dualcore Xeon, 3 GHz, 2 Gig RAM) running the BF2 MAp Checkpoint Abadan but we were unable to reproduce it.

Don't know if this is the first time the error has occured or if it has been this since the server got updated as this is the first chance I've had to play for a while.
