As regular vanilla player i can say its not just FS - and its getting worse

I can hardly even finish a round, in 2 hrs i usually get kicked 2 - 3 times, first "connection to server lost", if i rejoin i usually get "EA master server error" after a sec

BF2 and BF 2142 is affected. AFIAK also some other Games like CoD4.

"There are some small Problems while Gamspy enhances the server capaticy" ROFL....

And don't worry about shutting the masterserver down. As long enought people rent a game server it will be stupid to shut the masterserver down.

EA Masterserver also didn t want to let me play for a longer periode too ^^

You re talking about Mass Effect and Spore. But - good news - the stepped back form their "10-days-dial-home" plans. It was reduced to online-checks if you install an addon or else.

Been happening a lot lately, even during testing I had this problem.

I agree, having to connect to a server to play is stupid. I believe there is another game coming out(name escapes me right now) that will 'dial home' every ten days, if it cant dial home you wont be able to play. So...your at the mercy of the company, once they stop supporting it and close their servers you have a game you can no longer play.

Maybe they are testing something with 1.5?

Yeah, EA Master server has been doing this a lot lately. People in my clan have complained about it doing it to them in vanilla as well.

EA master server has been throwing me off not just today, but throughout the past month. The fact that we even have to go through an online server just to connect to another one is ridiculous.

I don't know if this is our problem, I don't think so but Im interested in seeing who else out there got thrown off a server today for either of those reasons. I literally got disconnected 23 times today throughout the day, very frustrating. Just curious if it happens to anyone else.
