Cockpit ejection for the B-Wing in atmospheric conditions.  I know there are no planetside maps with the B-Wing, but eventually.  When the B-Wing becomes badly damaged allow the pilot to eject (Destroying the body of the ship in the process), since B-Wings seem more like spacecraft for survivalist pilots, such as myself.  It can also provide balance as the B-Wing rarely survives its encounters with more nimble craft.

Is this info supported outside Rebel Assault II?   I just want to know there's another source for this besides that wonderful high-school acting powered game.

Wookieepedia:  "Like its predecessor, the Y-wing, the cockpit could be detached from the rest of the ship, but unlike the Y-wing, the B-wing's cockpit could be ejected into space and support atmospheric re-entry."

The Y-Wing does not need the ejection seat though.  And since pods are basic in vanilla, it shouldn't be hard to create one from the B-Wing's cockpit.
