And if there was something in-game you didn't get, you just had to either experiment or pause it for a few secs and, to be frank, RTFM. And there were still loads of people who, you know... PLAYED the games. PR is far less intuitive and newbie-friendly than FS and I manage to play it just fine in windowed mode, alt-tabbing in and out.

The voice overs only happen once and you can typicaly turn them off in the options. I think you can suffer through about 1-3 minutes of total voice-over so that you can keep new players and have... ya know... people actualy PLAY the game.....

That's funny, 'cause in the old days there was very little, if any, of the modern hand-holding in games. When I got a new SNES game, or rented one, I'd happily sit in the car on the way home and read the colourful manual in eager anticipation. It was part of the fun. And if there was something in-game you didn't get, you just had to either experiment or pause it for a few secs and, to be frank, RTFM. And there were still loads of people who, you know... PLAYED the games. Today, on the other hand, manuals are short black-and-white pamphlets, reading them is apparently thought to transmute HIV or something judging from the hostility towards the act from today's players, and everything has to be spoon-fed the player in-game.
