Thanks for posting TJ!

But I'm quite sure that the server has enough power. We use 2 Opteron 8216@2.6GHz with 2GB Ram/1CPU, FTTH(100Mb) internet access. The load maximum we experienced is 60%(out of 400%).
Could it be because of the 64bit OS?

Thanks again TJ for kindly posting a suggestion.

Hi, I am a server admin at clan "Punisher" aka "=Puni=", and we are also trying to run a public firststrike server and having the same problem. Switching maps takes about 2 minutes. The problem seems to happen when PunkBuster is running. No error log in any log, and PB itself works fine with bf2142.
Our server runs on a 64bit CPU, AMD Opteron, with Fedora8 x86-64 edition.
I am totally stuck with this issue. Clan "Punisher" is willing to supply a public Firststrike mod server in Japan, which would profit players in the asia-pacific area. PunkBuster is indispensable for a public server. Any help is welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Hey Guys,

First off I want to compliment you on a beautiful mod! It is truly amazing.

I am the 2142 server administrator at "The Lazy Bastards" (TLB) clan. We have a server running and it seems to work fine until the server goes to switch maps. Then everyone gets the "There is a problem with your connection" error and nothing happens. I am a total newbie on setting up any type of gaming server, so there may just be a setting I missed, but I haven't been able to find anything about this in the forum. Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.

G.
