FS needs more "clutter" in general. It's not just an Endor problem. As for Ewoks:

1. It's be silly.
2. It'd be unbalanced. Look at how much stronger the UK is than the Insurgency in PR (which is why the insurgency has twice as many tickets). Take the PR Insurgency, reduce its strength to one tenth, and you get the Ewoks. It simply wouldn't work.
3. There's no reason to do it. Time would be better spent on more serious projects, like Mon Calamari, smugglers, Wookiees, etc.
4. It's impossible, see above.

it's not the e-woks weapons, it's the difference in size.

Battlefield 40K, a BF2 / BF 2142 Mod have the same problems, so they diced to left out the bigger & smaller Orks.

Q: Why are all the races/species the same height?

A: BF2 only supports one skeleton per team. When making infantry models our modellers use standard soldier template of the DICE reference soldier model for comparing the height and dimensions. We use the existing skeleton as this allows us to reuse existing animations and tweak them if needed. This speeds up development.
Another problem that the singular skeleton per race creates is that certain infantry units for certain races can’t be made, and some races can’t be made at all because of the diversity in height and the number of limbs.
In the Imperial Guard Ogryns and Ratling snipers have to be left out. In the Ork armies we can not accurately show the difference in height between the weaker and tougher Orks and using grots/Gretchen can not be included. So the most common sense thing to do is to use the most soldiers types that share the same height.

Q: Why do you not make custom skeletons to have the races the correct size?

A: The developers understand the above method does not truly represent Warhammer 40k race height and it’s a trade off we have chosen to speed up development. Below is an explanation of the alternate option and why it is not used.

Custom skeletons can be created, however a new one requires 130+ unique custom animations to be made for it and even more to go with each weapon, then there is a lot of testing that needs to be done to spot visual bugs such as clipping. We simply do not have the manpower and resources to be able to do this, only a commercial games developer would. If we did make custom skeletons the progress and production of the mod would be slowed down significantly and BF3 would probably be out by the time we are finished! There are six races to complete; when we do finish them eventually we will revisit this method!

From:
http://www.battlefield40k.com/forums/fa … k_faq_full

A couple of static traps (already sprung) with AT-ST or speeder bike wrecks would be nice, too. I can picture two trees, one rope strung from tree to tree, a dead stormie lying a few meters off, and a bike lying some distance away. Simple stuff like that. Can't be too hard to model a simple rope, and the bike wreck and stormie corpses we have already.

FS maps need a lot more "clutter" in general. Hopefully in later releases.
