it's supposed to repel rebels. It does seem to be the lower half of the shield thats non effective, I've seen a group of rebels do it before, then the rest of the squad spawned on the officer (who set up a beacon) and they all proceeded to spawn rape the base.

Did that, but I did it with a civilian landspeeder. It just went right through. I also tried to steal a lambda but couldn't get out. Instead I grabbed the Imperials' ARMED landspeeder and waltzed right out. Is it supposed to repel civilian stuff or just rebel stuff? O_o

actually I've done the same thing too... but with a Y-wing! I guess it's the lowerhalf of the shield that won't repel rebel spacefighters at all... did this on an empty server, tried to take the lambada with me but couldn't get out the shield. But it only works on spacefighters because its the lower portion.

If you've ever read 'Dune', you'll know that "the slow blade penetrates the shield". Well the same appears to be true of airspeeders and the Empire shield on Ryloth!

Went in slow on repulsors/suspensors. If you try to fly in at any great speed, you just crash, which is presumably the object of the shield.

I didn't take advantage, by the way. Shot up some empty TIEs for the screenshots then went out again.
